Job Requirements:
Responsibilities: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience developing software in a professional environment (preferably financial services but not necessary)
- Understanding of Enterprise architecture patterns, Object Oriented & Service Oriented principles, design patterns, industry best practices
- Knowledge of micro services architecture, design and business process. Hands on development and programming experience with programming language like Python, SQL, React.js
- Knowledge on data streaming, messaging and event driven systems like Kafka, Azure Events, Azure streaming services, etc.
- Experience with technologies like SQL (MySQL, MS SQL, or Oracle)
- Exposure to containers, microservices, distributed systems architecture, orchestrators and cloud computing.
- Good sense of user interaction and usability design to provide an intuitive, seamless end user experience.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to work with subject matter expert to extract critical business concepts.
- Ability to work and potentially lead in an Agile methodology environment.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Qualifications: - Contribute to new and evolving design, architecture, standards, and methods for operating and contributing to services within our enterprise application ecosystem.
- Develop enterprise grade software using our tech stack of Python, SQL and React.js. Make sure code deployments happen through properly defined CI/CD pipelines and maintain code deployments on all environments such as QAT, PPE and Production.
- Follow strong development practices including but not limited to Unit Test Coverage, Secure Programming. Also document our practices, workflows, APIs, etc in our confluence.
- Always look for improvements in existing product features and processes. Proactively go to the Manager with these improvements rather than manager coming to you.
- Strictly follow agile practices and ceremonies like scrum calls, sprint planning and sprint demos. Give meaningful suggestions for improvements during Sprint retros. Always keep the Jiras up to date with comments, screenshots, etc.
