Data Engineer

Overview

The role involves analyzing large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities include designing and building dashboards to visualize key retail KPIs and operational metrics for business stakeholders. The position also requires developing ad-hoc reports and performing deep-dive analyses to support cross-functional teams. Close collaboration with product managers and stakeholders is essential to gather reporting requirements and deliver customized data solutions.

Skills:

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g.MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Proficiency in Python for data pipelines and scripting
• Proven ability to build reporting dashboards and visualizations for retail KPIs using tools such as Apache Superset, Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Talend, or custom pipelines)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data services like S3, Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake
• Familiarity with batch and streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Spark, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization
• Version control with Git and experience working in a CI/CD environment teams—freeing up product and platform resources to focus on their core responsibilities.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹586,879.76 - ₹1,520,933.98 per year
