About the Job:

NeoStats Analytics is seeking enthusiastic Data Engineering Interns to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates or students currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in building robust data pipelines, optimizing architectures, and supporting analytics and data science initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building, optimizing, and maintaining reliable data pipelines and architectures.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support business analytics and data science teams.
• Help in creating and managing ETL/ELT processes to ensure seamless data flow.
• Support in data ingestion, cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts to improve data quality and accessibility.
• Document data workflows, pipeline processes, and system architecture for future reference.
• Explore and implement best practices in data engineering and cloud-based solutions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of data pipeline issues and propose solutions.
• Assist in integrating data from various sources into centralized repositories.
• Learn and apply concepts of data warehousing and data modeling.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SQL and basic database concepts.
• Exposure to Python/PySpark or Scala or any programming language used in data handling.
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong willingness to learn and contribute in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
• Basic knowledge of data architecture and data governance principles is a bonus.
• Azure certification is a plus
