We are seeking a Data Engineer (having at least 1 year of professional experience) who can build robust data systems, automate reporting and processes, and develop scalable pipelines in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment.

Role Overview

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, reporting automation systems, and workflow automation processes. The role requires strong technical capabilities in Python, cloud deployments, and API integrations, along with the ability to work closely with cross-functional business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Develop and manage automated reporting systems for business intelligence.
• Build process automation workflows to reduce manual operational dependencies.
• Integrate and manage data from multiple sources (e.g., e-commerce platforms, marketing platforms, internal systems).
• Develop and maintain API-based integrations.
• Deploy and manage data services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and data validation mechanisms.
• Ensure high data reliability, performance optimization, and system scalability.
• Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering and Automations
• B.E / B.Tech from Tier-1 engineering institution like IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITS, etc.
• Strong proficiency in Python (advanced scripting and automation skills required).
• Experience in building reporting automation systems and data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience working with GraphQL and REST APIs
• Experience using workflow automation tools such as n8n (or similar platforms).
• Strong problem-solving and system design capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a high-ownership environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including:
• Compute Engine
• Cloud Run
• Vertex AI APIs
• G-Suite APIs
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to Shopify GraphQL APIs.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets automation expertise.
• Experience working in a D2C or e-commerce environment.
• Familiarity with BI/Visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
