Data Engineer

Overview

We are seeking experienced Data Engineers to join our dynamic team at Venture7 Technology Pvt Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in design & develop high performance data & analytics products
• Participate in requirements grooming, analysis, and design discussions with fellow developers, business, and quality analysts
• Participate in product planning by providing estimates on user stories
• Participate in daily standups and provide updates on the tasks
• Develop high-quality code according to business and technical requirements as described in the user stories
• Write and execute unit test cases
• Peer Review the code from fellow developers for defects and validate implementation as per user stories
• Work with testing and quality team to ensure testing requirements are completed
• Work with visualization team to ensure the data is correctly displayed on the reports
• Demo your work to product owners and other stakeholders
• Provide support for the production defect.
  
  

• 5+ years of Data Engineering and Analytics Experience in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks/Snowflake
• Knowledge and application of following skills – SQL/T-SQL, PySpark, Azure Data Factory
• Understanding and experience in dimensional modelling and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in agile software development and scrum methodology
• Strong planning, time management and problem-solving skills for data driven products
• A Team player with attitude to learn and passion to excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
