Job Title: Data Engineer (3–6 Years Experience)

Location: Chennai / Bangalore (The initial training will be in Bangalore for 2 months, post which the location will be Chennai)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), PySpark, ETL processes, and SQL, along with good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines
• Build and optimize ETL processes for structured and unstructured data
• Work with large datasets using PySpark and distributed computing frameworks
• Develop and manage data solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and pipelines
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for data engineering

Required Skills & Qualification

• 3–6 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with PySpark
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS / Azure / GCP
• Solid experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines using industry-standard tools
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts (RDBMS, Data Warehousing)
• Good understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have

• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (Redshift, Snowflake, Big Query, Synapse)
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, etc)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
