About Position:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Data Warehousing, SQL, and AWS to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and warehouse solutions. This role involves working with large datasets, implementing ETL/ELT processes, and supporting analytics and reporting needs in a cloud-based data ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions on AWS
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
• Work with Amazon Redshift and related data warehouse platforms for structured data storage
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Design and manage data models using star and snowflake schemas
• Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, flat files, and databases
• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and reliability across systems
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, and business teams to support reporting and insights
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot production issues
• Support enhancements to existing data platforms and workflows

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong experience with Data Warehousing concepts and architectures
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Redshift, S3, and Glue/Lambda
• Proven experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Solid understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling techniques
• Experience with data lakes and data warehouse architectures
• Exposure to orchestration tools such as Airflow (good to have)
• Working knowledge of Python or scripting languages
• Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
• Exposure to modern data stack tools such as DBT (nice to have)
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices in data engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in Agile teams with an ownership mindset
• Experience with hybrid Data Lake + Warehouse architectures (preferred)
• Exposure to real-time or streaming pipelines (nice to have)
• Domain experience in BFSI or Analytics is an added advantage
