Data Engineer (AWS Redshift, Kubernetes, Spark and Python)

Job Description:

• Experience of 6-7 years with strong understanding of Data & Analytics concepts and technologies, including data lakes, Data Pipelines, visualization, and reporting, with a focus on creating business value.
• Proficiency in big data technologies including AWS Redshift, Spark, Python, complex SQL. Should be able to review Python code.
• Experience with Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes & AWS
• Good to have DBT & Dataiku, Kubernetes cluster
• Experience querying big data, using tools like, Hive, Presto.
• Experience with SQL and Bitbucket
• Good knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Metadata Management best practices.
• Experience with Data pipelines orchestration tools like DataIku, Airflow or Argo Workflows
• Strong data analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the capability to handle and take ownership of critical issues until resolution.
• Customer-focused with a 'service first' mentality and excellent communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and when faced with adversity or urgent issues.
