Participate in the entire lifecycle, from design through the development and test processes to production support.
Tasked with building and maintaining highly scalable data processing pipelines using BigData technologies and SOA architecture.
Implement continuous integration, testing, deployment practices and automation frameworks to increase productivity.
Work with architectural and security teams to design, build, and maintain services that are compliant and meet Visa security standards.
Participate in cross-group and internal customer feature demos.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Basic Qualification
-Hands-on experience with all aspects of software development: data, server-side,
and open-source software.
-Willingness to adapt quickly and learn newer technologies
-Software development knowledge using Java or Python
-Basic knowledge and training in Bigdata technologies like Hive and Spark
-Ability to understand and write complex SQL queries for development & data
analysis
-Basic experience on Unix and shell scripting
-Knowledge on standard Ci/CD processes, specifically Jenkins CI/CD
Preferred Qualification
-Knowledge in AI/ML, especially solution building using ChatGPT and GenAI,
Github Copilot
-Databricks, Kafka, Presto, Solr, Nifi, Airflow, Sqoop
