As a Data Engineer (ETL), you will play a critical role in our data infrastructure, responsible for ingesting and transforming data from diverse sources including APIs, logs, flat files, and databases. You will build and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Python and data processing tools to handle various formats such as CSV, JSON, Parquet, and XML.

You will be developing RESTful API client-server integrations with a focus on secure authentication and efficient data ingestion. Your experience with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases will be essential in managing hybrid data environments.

Working within an Agile/SCRUM framework, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, deploying and maintaining code via Git, and leveraging the AWS suite to support scalable and reliable data solutions. A strong foundation in CI/CD and a proactive approach to emerging data technologies will ensure continued innovation and excellence in our analytics ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Ingesting data from sources such as APIs and Logs as well as Flat files and DBs.
• API Client Server Development (REST) particularly with API authentication, data ingestion, etc.
• Administering both RDBMS and NOSQL with the same data and analytics environment.
• Using data tools in converting, processing and transforming different file formats (e.g csv, json, parquet, xml).
• Comfortable with using Python on data and analytics needs.
• Deploy and maintain scripts on Git repositories.
• Experience in working with the AWS Suite.
• Stay up to date with new tech, know new data & analytics technologies before they hit the market.
• Adept at SCRUM/Agile methodologies and environment
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degreeree / College, Computer Science / IT
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field (Python, ETL).
• Highly experienced in Continuous Integration (CI)
• Experience in ingesting data from sources such as APIs and Logs as well as Flat files and DBs.
• Experience with API Client Server Development (REST) particularly with API authentication, data ingestion, etc.
• Experience with administering both RDBMS and NOSQL with the same data and analytics environment.
• Experience with using data tools in converting, processing and transforming different file formats (e.g csv, json, parquet, xml).
• Comfortable with using Python on data and analytics needs.
