1. As a Data Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support enterprise data integration and analytics requirements.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
- Support and maintain Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions.
- Manage production support activities and follow ITSM incident management processes.
- Investigate and resolve P1, P2, P3, and P4 incidents while ensuring timely communication with business stakeholders.
- Coordinate with multiple support teams to drive issue resolution and service continuity.
- Participate in end-to-end Change Request Management activities, including requirement gathering, documentation, testing, deployment, and compliance validation.
- Perform manual unit testing and integration testing for new enhancements and system changes.
- Ensure adherence to SOX compliance and organizational governance standards.
- Work closely with business users and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
2. What You Bring to the Table:
- 5-7 years of experience in Data Integration and Data Warehousing.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
- Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and data transformations.
- Good understanding of Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and production environments.
- Knowledge of ITSM processes and incident management practices.
- Experience interacting directly with business stakeholders and handling client-facing communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. You Should Possess the Ability to:
- Build efficient and scalable data pipelines for enterprise data platforms.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues.
- Communicate effectively with business partners regarding issue impact, progress, and resolution.
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining SLA commitments.
- Collaborate effectively across business, support, and development teams.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables while maintaining compliance and governance standards.
