Data Engineer II

Overview

As a Data Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures and large-scale processing systems.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a wide variety of data sources.
• Work with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  
  

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
• Proficiency in data warehousing tools and technologies (ETL, SQL, data integration)
• Understanding of database management systems and data warehouse architectures
