Requirements

This role focuses on developing and maintaining data integration solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server technologies, enabling seamless data ingestion and delivery of outbound data feeds. The ideal candidate is also adept at troubleshooting errors and implementing robust error-handling mechanisms to ensure process reliability.

7+ years of experience in SQL Server and relational database technologies.

7+ years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

5+ years of experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.

Strong understanding of relational database concepts (normalization, constraints, indexing, etc.).

Proficient in T-SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Experience implementing error-handling and logging within SSIS and T-SQL processes.

Proficient in troubleshooting data integration issues, including root-cause analysis and resolution.

Experience with VB.NET or C# scripting within SSIS packages (preferred).

Familiarity with data modeling and cloud integration technologies (preferred).

Excellent troubleshooting skills for resolving data integration and performance issues.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work within company policies to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance.

Job responsibilities

Build and Maintain Data Integrations Using SSIS

Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes to enable data ingestion of eligibility, medical, pharmacy claims, and other partner data.

Configure SSIS workflows for outbound data feeds and file-based data exchanges.

Implement and maintain error-handling mechanisms in SSIS to ensure robust and reliable processes.

Develop and Optimize Database Processes Using T-SQL

Write and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures to support integration pipelines.

Develop scripts to ensure efficient data processing and transformations.

Add error-handling and logging to database processes to ensure data integrity and process transparency.

Troubleshoot Errors and Monitor Integration Processes

Diagnose and resolve errors in SSIS workflows, T-SQL queries, and overall integration pipelines.

Develop tools or procedures to monitor and alert for integration issues proactively.

Analyze integration anomalies and apply root-cause analysis to ensure long-term reliability.

Collaborate with Analysts and Business Stakeholders

Partner with Data Analysts and Business Partners to gather and validate integration requirements.

Ensure integration processes align with business needs and data quality standards.
