Data Engineer – SQL Developer & Healthcare Domain

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, integrating healthcare data from various sources, and ensuring data quality for analytics and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Work with complex healthcare data sets including claims, EMR/EHR, HL7, FHIR, etc.
• Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction and transformation.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to support data requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation.
• Optimize existing queries and database performance.
• Document data workflows, schemas, and metadata.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or SQL Developer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Solid understanding of healthcare datasets and standards (e.g., ICD, CPT, HL7, FHIR, HIPAA compliance).
• Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend, etc.) or custom ETL scripting.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery – a plus).
• Exposure to reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau – a plus).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,094.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
