Annalect India plays a key role for our group companies and global agencies by providing stellar products and services in areas of Creative Services, Technology, Marketing Science (data & analytics), Market Research, Business Support Services, Media Services, Consulting & Advisory Services.

• Build and support a global data governance framework ensuring standards, measures and enforcement capabilities for:

• Develop data governance policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with corporate and global regulatory needs of the business
• Implement formal Critical Data Element (CDE) identification and certification/attestation processes
• Lead a Business Glossary initiative to identify and document the set of critical and impactful data elements and supporting metadata.
• Liaise with functional partners such as:
• Risk and Controls team to ensure business and IT controls are captured and tested to support CDE attestation
• IT team to ensure Functional and IT Lineage capture has been completed for CDEs
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with these published governance standards through internal audit and independent third-party verification
• Establish procedures and automated processes to monitor the status of cloud environments and bespoke platforms
• Provide leadership, supervisory management, and mentorship to direct report(s) and any dotted-line staff.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive and effective recurring security awareness training for data governance and SecDevOps
• Support all teams regarding information and security initiatives/roadmaps, which materially support their organizations
• Participate in prospect and customer briefings and opportunities as appropriate
• The candidate must build strong relationships and must have solid business-facing skills. They must be able to influence and communicate critical details to solution architects and the development teams.
• Create and maintain scorecards to articulate and manage the required compliance of all data governance related KPIs
• Collaborate directly with the business data owners to establish their adherence to data governance requirements
• Support the assessment of proposed data sharing arrangements and evaluation of associated risks
• Navigate the organization well and partner with Legal, IT, Finance, LOBs, and other functional partners to identify key dependencies and deliver result's.
• Manage issues and management decisions to timely resolution.

This may be a right role for you if you have

• Knowledge of IT and Privacy frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).
• Data Governance, Privacy, or Information Security certifications such as CIPP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CFE
• Familiarity with control frameworks and regulatory/compliance requirements such as ISO 27001/27018, SAS70, HIPAA, FISMA, EU Data Protection Directive, etc.
• 5 years of experience in the data industry with 3+ years towards delivering Data Governance initiatives at large multi-business unit organizations
• Deep understanding of Data Governance as a data discipline and the theory behind it
• Strong knowledge of Data Quality and Data Management practices
• Understanding of global privacy and data protection regulations, such as EU’s GDPR and US laws such as CCPA, CPRA, CDPA, CPA, HIPAA, GLBA.

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, or related field
• Past Media and Entertainment industry experience
• Demonstrated understanding of the complexity of developing and delivering effective operational solutions to complex business challenges
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and drive groups to collaborative solutions across multiple groups and ability to influence throughout the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, think creatively, communicate recommendations, influence change and be able to drive process and structure into an extremely dynamic environment.
