Data Migration Business Analyst

Role profile:

A Business Analyst on the migration workstream of a greenfield ERP implementation, contributing to the successful transformation from legacy ERP’s to a strategic Cloud platform.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Data Migration Business Analyst will support the workstream for a tranche of releases, focusing on the transformation of data from legacy ERP systems to a strategic Oracle landscape. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who has experience in working with datasets, producing analysis and reporting, as well as co-ordinating people and tasks across multiple deliverables.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Developing an understanding of target data structures and requirements
• Producing analysis, cleanse reports, mapping and reconciliation documents for numerous data objects
• Working with business teams to showcase cleanse and analysis findings, and coordinating until resolution
• Producing gap analysis where required
• Running weekly calls with Business SMEs, actively managing cleanse and reconciliation items
• Collaborating with technical teams, finance teams, and business teams
• Generating reports and dashboards to communicate to stakeholders.
  
  

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Strong working knowledge of data principles and tools
• Expert knowledge of Excel
• Strong leadership skills and communication skills
• Previous experience of working on data migration projects, preferably in ERP system implementations
• Experience in Procure to Pay, Quote to Cash or Record to Report
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and on multiple objects in parallel
• Strong analytic curiosity and innovative problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and in a multifaceted, cross-functional team structure.
