Data QA Engineer

Overview

As a Data test Engineer, you will be a part of a global team creating new solutions as well as improving existing solutions for Koch Global Solutions India (KGSI). Koch Business Solutions India is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. KGS India is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. As KGSI rapidly scales up its operations in India, it’s employees will get opportunities to carve out a career path for themselves within the organization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automated test solutions using ETL test tools. You will be part of a team that engages with business and collaborates with the relevant stakeholders to deliver end-to-end QA Solutions.

What You Will Do

• 3+ years’ experience as Data test Engineer / ETL tester.
• Expertise in DB-related testing and ETL testing.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Strong knowledge in AWS services especially S3, batch, athena, glue.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with ETL tools like pandas, great expectations.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases like Redshift, elastic search, OpenSearch, Postgres, snowflake.
• Good knowledge around analyzing population data and demographics.
• Strong knowledge in version control – Gitlab and pipeline integration.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work under pressure, critical thinking skills and able to operate with minimal supervision.
• Good Verbal & Written Communication skill
• Good Mentorship and Knowledge sharing skills.
  
  
  

• Hands on experience with Jira.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Hands on experience in Dev-Ops like Gitlab CI/CD pipeline
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of the current market trends.
