Responsibilities
The role is a Senior Data Engineer who will help shape the future of data-driven auditing. With 7–10 years of experience, you will design and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensure compliance with global data regulations (including GDPR), and empower auditors/inspectors with high-quality data and advanced analytics. You will masterize all the datasets of the perimeter assigned to you, becoming the point of contact for all Internal Audit. This is a strategic role offering exposure to cutting-edge technologies, global collaboration, and the opportunity to influence audit practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize secure, scalable data pipelines for audit use cases.
• Collaborate with audit teams and CDOs to understand data needs and deliver compliant, high-quality data products.
• Ensure data solutions align with global privacy regulations, including GDPR.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize audit metrics.
• Continuously improve data accessibility and quality to support audit missions.
• Stay up to date with emerging data engineering tools and audit trends.
• Document pipeline architectures, data processes, and compliance measures.
• Perform advanced analytics and exploratory data analysis using Python to support audit findings and risk assessments.
  

Bachelors/Masters Degree of Engineering with 7-10 years of experience
What We’re Looking For

• 7–10 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on pipelines and dashboards.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and Power BI.
• Experience with modern data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of GDPR and data governance best practices.
• Experience in audit or compliance environments is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong communication skills to bridge technical and audit teams.
  

• Knowledge of data cataloging and metadata management tools.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and audit data lifecycle.
• Experience with machine learning or statistical analysis applied to audit data.
