Aria Intelligent Solutions is Looking for:

Key Skills

 4–6 years of hands-on experience in applied ML, time series, or forecasting.

 Strong coding expertise in Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing

and model development.

 Proven experience working on Databricks and AWS for scalable analytics and

deployment.

 Strong understanding of price optimization, cannibalization modeling, and

demand modeling in FMCG/Retail contexts.

Key Responsibilities

Model Development:

 Build and scale machine learning models for price elasticity, price and promotion

optimization, cannibalization analysis, and demand forecasting tailored to FMCG

and Retail dynamics.

 Quantify cross-product interactions, substitution effects, and promotional impacts

to optimize category-level pricing and demand outcomes.

Hands-On Analytics:

 Work extensively with PySpark and Databricks to process large-scale structured

and unstructured datasets.

 Develop and deploy production-ready solutions on AWS using best practices in

data engineering and model lifecycle management.

Demand & Cannibalization Modeling:

 Design robust models to forecast baseline demand, incremental lift, and cross-

product cannibalization under various pricing and promotional scenarios.

 Apply causal inference and advanced statistical modeling techniques to interpret

consumer behavior and portfolio performance.

Business Collaboration:

 Partner with category, revenue management, and supply chain teams to

integrate data-driven insights into pricing and assortment strategies.

 Translate complex analytical results into clear business recommendations that

drive measurable commercial outcomes.

Client/Stakeholder Engagement:

 Present actionable insights and model outputs to business leaders in clear,

business-relevant language.

 Support stakeholders in understanding model implications and adopting

analytical solutions across business functions.

Innovation:

 Explore emerging AI/ML techniques, automation opportunities, and real-time data

integration to enhance accuracy and scalability of pricing and demand models.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

 Master’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science,

Operations Research, or related field.

 4–6 years of relevant experience in data science, predictive modeling, or demand

forecasting, preferably within FMCG or Retail.

 Proven expertise in Python, PySpark, AWS, and Databricks.

 Strong working knowledge of machine learning, optimization, time series

forecasting, and demand/cannibalization modeling.

 Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to

non-technical stakeholders.

 Experience with price optimization and revenue growth management projects in

FMCG/Retail.

 Familiarity with MLOps practices for scalable deployment and monitoring.
