Overview
About the internship:
We are building industry-grade data science solutions and productizing them into real, deployable systems. This internship is for candidates who already have hands-on exposure to data science and can think rigorously about correlation vs. causality, statistical inference, time series forecasting, predictive modeling, and practical AI implementation. If you're excited about solving real-world problems with a team that cares about correctness, clarity, and impact (not just running models), you'll fit in well.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on real datasets and real problem statements, translating business/research questions into measurable modeling tasks.
2. Perform statistical analysis with strong rigor (EDA, hypothesis testing, uncertainty estimation, inference, confidence intervals, experiment design).
3. Build causal reasoning/causal inference approaches where appropriate (e.g., A/B test analysis, treatment effect estimation, uplift/impact measurement, causal graphs/DAG thinking).
4. Develop time series forecasting pipelines (feature engineering, baselines, backtesting, seasonality/trend handling, model selection, error analysis).
5. Build and validate predictive models (classification/regression) with strong evaluation practices (CV strategy, leakage checks, calibration, interpretability).
6. Apply and/or build AI components in solutions (e.g., LLM usage patterns, retrieval-augmented workflows, evaluation & guardrails, automation of analytical workflows) as relevant to the project.
7. Write clean, reproducible code and documentation (version control, experiment tracking, readable notebooks, clear technical notes).
8. Present insights and recommendations to the team with clarity (what we did, why we did it, what we learned, what we'll do next).
Who can apply:
- are available for the work from home job/internship
- can start the work from home job/internship between 25th Jan'26 and 1st Mar'26
- are available for duration of 4 months
- have relevant skills and interests
- * Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.
Only those candidates can apply who:

Certificate, Letter of recommendation, Flexible work hoursSkills required:
Python, Data Structures, Machine Learning, Data Science, Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning, Power BI and Artificial intelligenceOther Requirements:
1. A non-beginner foundation in applied data science (you have built models end-to-end before).
2. Strong understanding of correlation vs causation and how to avoid incorrect inferences.
3. Hands-on practice with time series forecasting and predictive modeling (even if via projects, but implemented seriously).
4. Practical Python skills for data science (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn; plus strong code hygiene).
5. Ability to communicate reasoning clearly (your thought process matters as much as results).
6. This role is best suited for candidates who already know the fundamentals and want advanced, real-world exposure.
7. We care about structured thinking, clean implementation, and evidence-backed decision-making.
8. If your approach is try models until accuracy improves without reasoning, this will not be the right fit.
