Our team helps the commercial operations organization drive transformational projects across the Sales organization. By joining our team as a Data Scientist I, Commercial Operations Analytics, you will put your problem-solving skills to a challenge and contribute to enhancing the Account Management space at EG.

To achieve this, you will build a relationship of trust with stakeholders across Account Management, Commercial Operations, Data Engineering, Machine Learning Science and Product & Tech; and will have the opportunity to produce and deliver insights to commercial leaders.

You will using cutting edge tools and drive change in an AI first environment.

What you’ll do:

• Use your creativity and commercial acumen to frame business challenges as analytical problems and apply problem solving techniques to break it down into concrete set of analytical tasks
• Extract data from multiple data sources and combine them into the required datasets
• Apply analytics techniques to deliver insights supporting decision-making of account management stakeholders
• Engage broadly and proactively with the organization to identify and prioritize operational challenges
Articulate confidently decision-making rationale, methodology and recommendation to both technical and non-technical partners, using clear and compelling storytelling in presentations

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline or equivalent experience
• 0-3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering insights that drive strong business impact
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to frame complex business problems as analytical tasks
• Ability to use AI appropriately across projects - e.g. for research/context gathering, one of analysis, dashboard construction and automation, coding support - while maintaining human ownership of validation, judgement and final recommendations
• Proficiency in SQL, Python knowledge a plus
• Ability to work independently and to show an ownership mindset
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including VP
