Data Visualization Engineer - Offshore

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tableau Visualization Developer to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven visualizations using Tableau to help stakeholders make informed decisions. Your expertise in Tableau will enable you to transform complex datasets into intuitive, interactive, and actionable dashboards that provide meaningful insights.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data visualization principles, business intelligence (BI), and analytics. You should be passionate about creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and impactful dashboards that cater to diverse business needs.

Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Dashboards :
Create visually engaging and interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop or Tableau Prep to present data in a clear and compelling manner. Ensure dashboards are tailored to meet the specific needs of different user groups.

Data Integration and Preparation :
Work with various data sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs, etc.) to extract, clean, and prepare data for visualization. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and consistency.

Performance Optimization :
Optimize dashboard performance by reducing load times, improving query efficiency, and ensuring smooth rendering even with large datasets.

Interactive Features :
Implement advanced interactive features such as filters, parameters, drill-down capabilities, and real-time updates to enhance user engagement and exploration of data.

User-Centric Design :
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from end-users to refine visualizations based on their needs and preferences. Ensure dashboards are intuitive and easy to navigate.

Collaboration :
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver tailored visualization solutions.

Requirements:
4+ years of experience in data visualization development, with a focus on Tableau.

Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Server/Tableau Online.

Strong understanding of SQL and database querying for data extraction and manipulation.

Experience working with large datasets and optimizing performance in Tableau.

Familiarity with data visualization principles and design best practices.

Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView) is a plus.
