NO SQL Database: Mongo DB, Cassandra and other databases

Reporting Tool: SSRS, Dev Express, Power BI

Scripting Tool: Python, Bash, Power shell

Cloud Databases: Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS and any other

Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our databases to ensure their performance, security, and availability. As a Database Engineer, you will work closely with software developers and system architects to optimize data storage and retrieval processes, guaranteeing that our applications run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in supporting our data-driven initiatives, providing data solutions that support the business's analytical and operational needs. The role will involve working with SQL and NoSQL databases, conducting data modelling and database design, as well as performance tuning and troubleshooting of database issues. Additionally, you will collaborate on projects to migrate existing databases to new technologies and implement data governance and compliance measures. This position requires a strong technical background combined with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient databases.
• Monitor database performance and tune queries for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with software developers to design and integrate database solutions.
• Perform data modeling and schema design for complex applications.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database design, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role with practical knowledge of database technologies.
• Strong expertise in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with database design and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, indexing, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with data backup, recovery, and replication strategies.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
