At McGraw Hill, In this role of Database and Integration Engineer - IICS you can continue to follow your passion for developing great applications while working with a global team. You'll contribute to designing solutions, development, delivery and execution for a variety of key customer-facing and internal applications.

How are you assisting us in our growth?

As an Database and Integration Engineer - IICS in this role we expect someone who will be addressing the defects and change requests by working closely with Solution Architects, Business Analyst and Testing team to implement the requirements.

What will you be doing?

The individual will be driving the end-to-end delivery of the functionality until production release and review unit as well as integration testing scope for business requirements. You will also be working closely with onshore and offshore development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and objectives.

A Typical Day Might Include

• Design, develop and maintain Informatica cloud data integration processes using the appropriate data load technique
• Build data integration processes by constructing mappings, tasks, task flows, schedules and parameter files
• Analyse the impact of changes on existing ETL/ELT processes and systems
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; provide input to information/data flow, understand, and comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural and requirement specifications
• Ensure appropriate level of Unit Test and System Test of all the deliverables
  
  

We Are Looking For Someone With

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a IICS Developer
• Good understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (server, data, and applications)
• Proven knowledge and experience in writing basic SQL queries
