- Remote role - based full time in Ireland (only)

- As an engineer focused on DevOps and infrastructure at Deciphex, you'll be involved in designing, deploying, and continuously improving infrastructure that supports a global platform within a fast-paced engineering team.
- We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who can architect advanced backend solutions and ensure high system availability.
- Design or improve important infrastructure and systems from an operational standpoint (i.e. deployment, logging, monitoring, alerting, etc.)
- Develop and own best practices for managing production infrastructure: provisioning, application scaling, configuration management, capacity planning, monitoring, etc
- Liaise with a Security Engineer to re-configure / patch existing Cloud applications / service
- Build, Test and Execute migration plan for services (and data) between regions / clouds.
- Design and Implement fail-over and backup strategies.
- Training required for the role, may include ISMS, GLP, DocuSign and GDPR awareness.
- Minimum of 3-4+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS services
- Experience designing and operating multi-region production systems
- Experience working with AWS or cloud infrastructures in general
- Experience with container schedulers and runtimes such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building deployment pipelines leveraging common CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI/CD, ArgoCD and Flux
- Experience with service mesh deployments such as Istio
- Experience with real-time telemetry and tracing tools like Prometheus
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Experience with streaming infrastructure (Kafka, etc)
- Experience with networking and configuring / managing VPC networks
- A good understanding of security best practices
- (Preferred) Experience working with landing zone AWS environment
- Experience in med tech/ health tech
- Experience with GLP regulations or software will be ‘a distinct advantage’
