DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a capable and dynamic DevOps Engineer to help scale the infrastructure operations. This individual will have the challenging responsibility of channeling our IT infrastructure and offering customer services with stringent international standard levels of service quality. This individual will leverage the latest IT tools to automate and streamline the delivery of our services, while implementing industry-standard processes and knowledge management.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be planning, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure operations at Eclat Engineering You will help in optimizing the IT infrastructure to empower both development and operations. To make the IT infrastructure cost-effective is an important objective.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Engineering and Product Team for the infrastructure of upcoming releases.
• Collaborating with the team to maximize output by leveraging automation wherever possible.
• Drive the Security aspect of our infrastructure.
• Learn Continuously, get exposure to the latest frameworks, technologies, and tools to make our infrastructure highly scalable, available, and robust.
  
  

Requirements

• Engineering graduate, preferably with a Computer Science/IT background.
• 1 - 2 Years of Industry experience in the Infrastructure engineering domain.
• Proficiency in Linux and DevOps fundamentals.
• Understanding of Compliance and Security.
• Proficient in shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management Tool (Ansible/SaltStack.
• Knowledge of the AWS Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Configuration Management tool - Strong preference for Ansible.
• Experience with IT monitoring tools is a must (Cloudwatch, Logdna, Sysdig, etc. ).
• Experience in administering multiple Linux servers.
• Must be comfortable in automating multiple systems using shell scripting or Python.
• Ability to deploy, operate, and troubleshoot commonly used server-based software such as Nginx, MySQL(other SQL servers), Squid HTTP Proxy, PHP application server, NodeJs. etc.
• Should have a good understanding of IT security and have knowledge to secure production environments (OS and server software).
• Should have experience in documenting and implementing processes.
  
  

Good To Have

• Experience in deploying, managing, and operating workloads on AWS with best practices and a well-architected framework.
• Having experience working closely with the DevOps team on Git based deployment.
• Knowledge/experience in using Kubernetes, managing access controls, and secret management.
• Knowledge of writing Infrastructure as a Code for public/private cloud.
• Python scripting and writing SQL queries are a bonus.
• Should have very high customer service sensibility (takes ownership of servers and services).
• Should be keen to adopt practices to automate and streamline routine and repetitive tasks.
• Troubleshooting mindset.
