Job Summary

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive the automation, deployment, and management of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), AWS serverless technologies, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines. This role requires a collaborative professional who can design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Platform Management

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS with high availability and security best practices
• Architect and implement AWS serverless solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, and other serverless services
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for multi-environment deployments
• Implement container orchestration strategies and manage microservices architectures
  
  

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub workflows
• Automate deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments
• Implement GitOps practices for infrastructure and application deployments
• Create and maintain automated testing frameworks for infrastructure validation
  
  

Monitoring & Operations

• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
• Ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and disaster recovery planning
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement preventive measures
• Manage secrets, configuration management, and security compliance
  
  

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response procedures
  
  

Required Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• Kubernetes & Container Orchestration: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, specifically Amazon EKS
• AWS Cloud Services: Strong expertise in AWS serverless technologies including:
• AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions
• CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS
• Container services (ECS, ECR, Fargate)
• Infrastructure as Code: 2+ years of experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
• CI/CD & Version Control: Proficiency in GitHub workflows, GitHub Actions, and Git-based development practices
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration
• Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance frameworks

Data & Analytics Platforms

• Databricks: Experience with Databricks platform, cluster management, and MLOps workflows
• Apache Kafka: Knowledge of Kafka ecosystem including:
• AWS MSK (Managed Streaming for Kafka)
• Confluent Cloud platform and Kafka Connect
• Stream processing and event-driven architectures
  
  

Database & Storage

• MongoDB: Experience with MongoDB Atlas, replica sets, sharding, and performance optimization
• NoSQL and SQL database administration and optimization
  
  

Multi-Cloud & Additional DevOps Tools

• Microsoft Azure: Familiarity with Azure cloud services, particularly:
• Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts)
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
• Experience with additional tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Helm, ArgoCD
  
  

Certifications (Preferred)

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Terraform Associate Certification
