DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building robust CI/CD pipelines and managing end-to-end product releases. This role requires deep expertise in automating build and deployment processes, creating Docker images and/or installers, and streamlining the release lifecycle across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications.
• Lead the automation of build, test, and deployment workflows using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Manage and optimize the software release process, including versioning, staging, and production rollouts.
• Build and maintain Docker images, container registries, and platform-specific installers.
• Ensure secure and consistent deployments across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to align on release goals and schedules.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure high system reliability.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and participate in DevOps process improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Build & Release Engineering, or related roles.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and container-based deployments.
• Experience with building software installers (e.g., InstallShield, NSIS, Inno Setup) or packaging tools for Linux.
• Proficient in scripting with Bash, Python, or similar.
• Solid experience with Git and Git-based workflows.
• In-depth understanding of release engineering, deployment strategies, and rollback mechanisms.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging frameworks (ELK, Fluentd).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Docker Certified Associate).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset focused on automation and continuous improvement.
