DevOps Engineer

Experience: 4.5 to 6 Years

Mode of Work: Hybrid (3 days, from office)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist with a strong DevOps/Cloud Ops background to design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and automation solutions. You will work across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), using cutting-edge IaC practices, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, leveraging advanced features like modules and locals

Work with Ansible or Puppet for configuration management tasks

Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (kubectl, Pods, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress)

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI

Implement monitoring and observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stacks

Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues involving VPCs, subnets, security groups

Architect for high availability and disaster recovery, including load balancing, autoscaling, multi-region deployments, and backup strategies

Develop scripts and automation using Python or Go

Engage with stakeholders and clients in a consultative manner, supporting customer-facing deployments and technical discussions

Qualifications:

4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Operations

Deep understanding of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Proficiency in Terraform, including best practices and advanced constructs

Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools and automation strategies

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and core components

Proficiency in monitoring/logging stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK

Networking expertise with cloud-native VPCs, security groups, and diagnostics

Solid scripting experience in Python or Go

Experience with high availability and disaster recovery architecture in cloud

Strong communication skills with a consulting mindset and customer-facing experience

Nice to Have:

Certification in AWS/Azure/GCP (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)

Experience with GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux)

Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
