About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer (E1) to join our engineering team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with foundational experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation. You will collaborate with senior engineers to streamline development workflows, automate infrastructure, and ensure the reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, configuration, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Support infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Help in setting up and managing Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Participate in code deployment and release activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build failures, system configuration, and deployments.
• Document DevOps procedures and best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic knowledge of scripting (e.g., Shell, Python, or Bash).
• Understanding of source control tools like Git.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Eagerness to learn infrastructure-as-code and cloud technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Internship or project experience in DevOps or system administration.
• Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
