Responsibilities
Provide day to day application support of end users
Help manage user requirements/problems and identify business priorities
Investigate, identify and resolve incidents and problems collectively or independently
Collaborate with other IT development and infrastructure teams to ensure the stability of production
Monitor application and chain health. Build monitoring using external tools and develop in-house monitoring tool
Take initiatives to reduce the operational risks and improve efficiency of day to day production
Required
Profile required
Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, software engineering
3+ years relevant work experience
The candidate should be Excellent in SQL (PL SQL, TSQL in case of Sybase ASE Microsoft SQL Server,). Candidate should have already performed role of L3 Support. Preferable, if he/she is from DEV background.
Should have deep knowledge in Triggers, Functions, Procedures.
Should be able to write Complex SQL queries.
Should have excellent debugging skills especially on Stored Procedures.
Should have basic knowledge of Java.
Should have strong L2/L3 support experience and good analytical skills.
Should have good knowledge on Investment Banking or Commodities or OTC Derivatives (at least familiar on one scope – either front or middle to back office) and proven hands on experience.
Ready to work either in Asia Pacific or Europe time zones.
Should be good in communication.
