DevOps Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment of applications across multiple environments.
• Develop and optimize infrastructure automation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Write scripts to facilitate automation tasks.
• Configure and maintain seamless integration between source code repositories (e.g., Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and deployment systems.
• Leverage on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy applications and manage resources, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to define deployment standards, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes across the development lifecycle.
• Ensure security best practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and access control, are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Maintain clear documentation on deployment processes, pipeline configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Mentor and share knowledge with other team members.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Understanding of security practices in CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
