DevOps Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure (EC2 VPC, IAM, S3 EKS, etc. ).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance and availability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
• Implement and enforce security practices using AWS services such as IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
• Write automation scripts in Python and Bash/Shell to streamline operations, deployments, and patching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth release cycles and platform reliability.
  
  

• Experience: 2-5 years.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (IAM, EC2 VPC, S3 EKS, CloudWatch, GuardDuty).
• Proficiency in containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS tools).
• Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell/Bash.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog).
• Solid understanding of DevOps, cloud security principles, and best practices.
