Devops Engineer (225-612)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our innovative and growing team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases. You will be responsible for deploying and streamlining different aspects of our development operations, ensuring that our systems and processes are reliable, efficient, and scalable. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and be well-versed in modern development operations structures, including cloud computing, containerization, and automation tools. Join us to help bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, driving the rapid delivery of quality software solutions and enhancing our development methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery systems.
• Collaborate with developers to create and maintain reliable automation scripts.
• Monitor system performance metrics and quickly resolve any issues.
• Design and develop operations enhancements for better scalability.
• Automate and streamline our operations and processes for efficiency.
• Participate in managing production and development environments.
• Assist in database administration and maintain system security and availability.
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure and resources management.
• Ensure high levels of system and infrastructure availability.
• Facilitate effective communication between operations and development teams.
• Stay current with industry trends and suggest new tools and technologies.
• Document processes to help build knowledge within the engineering team.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in system administration and cloud platforms.
• Proficient in scripting and automation tools like Bash, Python, or similar.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration software.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities across teams.
