DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing best practices for code check-in, standardization, release management, and security. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and operations teams to build a structured DevOps pipeline, enforce processes, and ensure compliance with security best practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Standardization & Code Management

• Define and enforce code check-in policies (branching strategies, pull request reviews, merge approvals).
• Implement version control best practices using GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
• Automate and standardize build processes to ensure consistency across teams.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to coding standards.

Release Management & CI/CD Pipelines

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment.
• Establish release management processes, ensuring smooth and controlled software rollouts.
• Set up blue-green deployments, canary releases, and rollback strategies to minimize production risks.

Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices for source code protection (e.g., secret scanning, access controls, dependency management).
• Ensure secure CI/CD pipelines with automated security scans, code quality checks, and compliance validations.
• Monitor and mitigate security threats in DevOps workflows.

Infrastructure & Automation

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure uptime and performance.

Collaboration & Team Guidance

• Act as a DevOps advocate, guiding developers and operations teams in best practices.
• Conduct training sessions and documentation to help teams follow standardized DevOps workflows.
• Work closely with engineering leads to align DevOps strategies with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
• Yearly bonus
