DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a talented and results-driven DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and infrastructure automation, with a passion for optimizing development and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development:
• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines for efficient code deployment and release management.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure faster and more reliable delivery of software updates.
• Infrastructure Management:
• Provision, manage, and scale cloud-based infrastructure using services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Automate the configuration and management of servers using tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of applications and infrastructure.
• Monitoring & Optimization:
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure application uptime and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in real-time.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaboration & Code Quality:
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth collaboration and efficient workflows.
• Enforce best practices for source control, code reviews, and release management to ensure quality and consistency.
• Security & Compliance:
• Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring secure access controls, data encryption, and vulnerability patching.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure systems and applications comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Automation & Scripting:
• Develop custom scripts and automation tools to streamline workflows and repetitive tasks.
• Use scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ruby) for automation and orchestration.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure, processes, and deployment strategies.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members on best practices, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a software development or system administration environment.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Bamboo.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Preferred:
• Experience with microservices architectures and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and NoSQL systems.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security principles.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) and deployment strategies.
• Experience with serverless architectures and frameworks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
