DevOps Engineer

Overview

Roles & Responsibilities

1. CI/CD Pipeline Management

Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for both frontend (Next.js, React.js) and backend (Java Spring Boot microservices).

Automate build, test, and deployment processes using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.

Ensure fast and reliable deployments with minimal downtime.

2. Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on DigitalOcean.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Optimize cloud resource utilization to improve performance, cost, and scalability.

3. Monitoring, Security & Reliability

Set up and manage monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.

Ensure system reliability by implementing logging, alerting, and proactive monitoring.

Strengthen security with best practices such as firewall rules, IAM roles, and vulnerability scans.

4. Containerization & Orchestration

Manage and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Automate container orchestration and scaling strategies.

5. Collaboration & Best Practices

Work closely with development teams to streamline deployment workflows.

Improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and security through automation and best practices.

Maintain and document DevOps processes, pipelines, and infrastructure configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2-3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role.

-Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.

-Experience with cloud platforms (preferably DigitalOcean, AWS, or GCP).

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.

- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

- Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).

- Familiarity with networking, security best practices, and IAM policies.

-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

-Experience working with microservices architectures (Java Spring Boot-based).

- Understanding of PostgreSQL performance tuning and database automation.

-Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
