DevOps Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable infrastructure solutions.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process using tools like GitLab CI.

• Manage and configure version control systems, particularly Git and GitLab.

• Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment, security, and performance.

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

• Monitor and enhance system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of infrastructure.

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance in a cloud environment.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve DevOps processes.

• Identify manual processes and tasks that can be automated and implement the necessary automation to improve efficiency.

• Assess system capacity and plan for scalability based on growth projections. Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a DevOps role.

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git and GitLab.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Batch, Bash, Powershell or Python.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Add on:

• Certification in relevant DevOps tools or cloud platforms.

• Experience with other DevOps tools.

• Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps environment.

• Knowledge on Asp .NET environment and DevOps workflow.

• Hands-on experience with Database servers such as MSSQL, MongoDB and Oracle Database.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
