Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Type of Employment: Full time/Permanent

Role Summary:

As a DevOps Engineer at Vananam, you will be integral to our operations and development teams, providing

support and expertise in system deployment, scalability, and security. You will work closely with various teams

to ensure that our infrastructure meets the high standards required for our mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Utilize AWS services effectively to ensure scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems.
• Administer and control system access for all team members across the organization, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize system performance and workflow.
• Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, recommending enhancements and changes to improve system security, reliability, and efficiency.
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
• Develop and maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to manage cloud resources efficiently and consistently.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
• Proficient with git and git workflows.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including monitoring and scaling applications.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills, flexibility, and customer-focused attitude.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and other relevant technologies.
• Experience with security systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
