Role Overview

Own Slikk’s AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment automation across Django backend, React Native app, React web apps, and data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AWS infrastructure — EC2/ECS, RDS (PostgreSQL), ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront, SQS/SNS, VPC.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend (Django), frontend (React), and mobile (React Native).
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation) with containerised deployments and auto-scaling.
• Build monitoring and alerting — CloudWatch, Sentry, Grafana — and maintain security best practices (IAM, secrets, TLS).
• Manage database ops (backups, replicas, tuning) and optimise infrastructure costs at scale.

Required Qualifications

• 4–5 years DevOps experience on AWS — EC2, ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, SQS, IAM, VPC.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
• Solid Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with monitoring stacks (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus) and networking (DNS, ALB, TLS).
• Experience supporting Django deployments in production.

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes (EKS) experience or mobile CI/CD (Fastlane, EAS Build).
• Data infra (Airflow, Kafka, Redshift) deployment experience.
