DevOps Engineer (Experience 3-4 yrs)

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us streamline our software development and deployment processes. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operations of infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in code deployment, security, and monitoring.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
• Ensure systems are secure and compliant with internal and external standards.
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, sonarchube).
• Have knowledge of working with services like runpod, scaleway, salad.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid understanding of Linux-based systems and networking.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, or Azure DevOps Engineer.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience in high-availability and disaster recovery planning.
