DevOps Engineer – GCP, Kubernetes & Terraform

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform Enterprise (TFE), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation frameworks while ensuring security, reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and automation.
• Implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker.
• Configure, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Enterprise (TFE).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize GCP cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to streamline release and deployment processes.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning using scripting languages.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and infrastructure environments.
• Ensure cloud environments adhere to security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and ing solutions for proactive incident management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including:
  • Compute Engine
  • Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Cloud Storage
  • IAM
• Expertise in Terraform Enterprise (TFE) for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
• Strong experience with Docker for containerization and image management.
• Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline development, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Shell/Bash, Python) for automation and operational tasks.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and deployment best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and related monitoring platforms.
• Exposure to security and compliance tools within cloud-native environments.
• Understanding of DevOps best practices, automation frameworks, and SRE principles.
