Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure, with a strong focus on bare-metal deployments. You will be responsible for building and deploying reliable systems through automation, effective monitoring, and responsive incident management. Collaborating with development and operations teams, you will help implement best practices in system architecture, deployment, and disaster recovery, driving efficiency and resilience across our environments.

- Deploy and manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters across bare-metal and cloud environments.
- Use Helm and similar tools for application packaging and deployment.
- Maintain K8s deployment templates for consistent service rollouts.
- Work with installation tools and distributions like kubeadm, kubespray, k3s, Rancher, or OpenShift for bare-metal deployments.
- Support in designing and deploying infrastructure solutions for bare-metal environments.
- Perform Linux system administration and troubleshooting on physical servers.
- Use scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools for automated provisioning and management.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of database servers.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting networking components such as routing, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Apply security best practices, including system hardening and access control.
- Support compliance-driven infrastructure operations.
- Contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software build, testing, and deployment.
- Write automation scripts (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc. ) for deployment and operational tasks.
- Configure and manage monitoring & alerting tools to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Support backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
- Conduct performance checks and assist in capacity planning for infrastructure optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth service deployment and reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Administration, preferably with exposure to bare-metal environments.
- Solid knowledge of Linux system administration, scripting, troubleshooting, and basic performance tuning.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls).
- Familiarity with disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Working knowledge of database technologies and their administration.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cloud and/or bare-metal), including deployment and management.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible, or similar).
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
