We’re a team of open-source engineers based in Bangalore, India — backed by $1M seed funding — building one of the fastest, most reliable data replication systems in the Apache Iceberg ecosystem.
🔍 What You’ll Work On
- Automate deployments and scale OLake’s cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Monitor and optimize OLake’s production pipelines across multi-cloud environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, observability dashboards, and security workflows.
- Collaborate with the core team to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Document setups, write sample configs, and contribute to open-source DevOps tooling.
✅ Must-Have Skills
- Prior internship experience in backend or systems development (Not crio.do or scaler or coding ninjas. It has to be a real company)
- Experience with Linux system administration.
- Familiarity with Bash, Git, and Docker.
- Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language (Go, Python, or Shell).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
💡 Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Advanced Docker knowledge and container troubleshooting.
- Contributions to open-source or community DevOps projects.

- Passionate about cloud-native infrastructure and DevOps automation.
- Keen to learn how large-scale data systems are deployed and monitored.
- Comfortable troubleshooting distributed systems and network setups.
- Pursuing or recently completed a CS/IT degree (or equivalent experience).
📚 What You’ll Learn
- Production-grade Kubernetes operations.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm) best practices.
- CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Multi-cloud deployment and monitoring.
- Open-source contribution workflows and collaboration with core engineers.
⏳ Internship Details
 Duration: 6 months
 Location: Bangalore (One-way flight ticket + 7-day accommodation provided)
 Possibility: Extension or full-time offer based on performance
