Job Profile:
The Educational Technology & IT Systems Specialist is a key member of the school’s leadership and support team, responsible for managing all IT-related functions and driving technology integration across academics, administration, and marketing.
This role blends technical expertise, networking knowledge, digital tools, and educational insight to create a future-ready learning environment. The specialist ensures reliable IT infrastructure, advises on the best use of technology for learning and school operations, and supports digital skill development for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities: IT Infrastructure & Network Management
- Manage the school’s IT network, including Wi-Fi setup, routers, switches, firewalls, and internet security.
- Ensure smooth connectivity and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor server and data backup systems; ensure cyber-safety protocols are followed.
Technology Integration in Education
- Advise school leadership on integrating smart classrooms, e-learning tools, and LMS platforms.
- Research and recommend tech upgrades aligned with school growth.
Training & Digital Literacy
- Conduct training sessions on computer skills, internet safety, Google Workspace/MS Office, and Photoshop.
- Guide teachers and students on using digital tools creatively and effectively.
CRM, SEO & Digital Marketing Support
- Implement and maintain CRM systems for admissions, communication, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with marketing team to improve school website SEO, online presence, and digital campaigns.
Tech Support & Maintenance
- Provide on-site tech support to staff and troubleshoot issues quickly.
- Maintain and update school hardware, software, and licensing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or Educational Technology.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking (LAN, WAN, routers, firewalls, IP management).
- Experience with school IT systems, LMS, CRM tools, and educational platforms.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, SEO, MS Office, and digital collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
Preferred Certifications (Optional):
- CCNA / CompTIA Network+
- Google Certified Educator
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional
