Role Summary

eNoah is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This critical role is responsible for the comprehensive management, optimization, and security of our cloud infrastructure and services. The Cloud Senior Engineer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust cloud-based applications, administering Linux servers, and ensuring peak system performance and data integrity across various cloud platforms. This position demands a strong focus on implementing cloud security best practices and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud computing Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Management & Architecture

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions across major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and serverless components.
• Ensure adherence to architectural best practices, cost optimization, and resource utilization Performance & Optimization :
• Continuously monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and implementing proactive tuning strategies for cloud-based applications and services.
• Optimize resource allocation and configurations to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and efficient operation of all cloud Management & Maintenance :
• Oversee the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of various cloud-based database systems, including relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Ensure database performance, scalability, backups, recovery, and Server Administration :
• Perform advanced administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux servers within cloud environments.
• Manage patching, security updates, system logs, and shell scripting to automate routine tasks and enhance operational Security & VAPT Management :
• Implement, manage, and continuously improve cloud security best practices, policies, and procedures (e.g., IAM, network security, encryption, data protection).
• Lead or actively participate in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) efforts, ensuring timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulatory Application Development & Deployment :
• Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native applications and services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated and efficient software delivery into cloud Support & Troubleshooting :
• Provide expert-level technical support for complex cloud computing solutions, diagnosing and resolving intricate issues related to infrastructure, applications, and databases.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for critical & Mentorship :
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, project managers, and security analysts, to achieve project goals.

Experience : 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Management.

Cloud Platform Expertise : Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform); multi-cloud experience is a strong plus.

Infrastructure Skills

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles (e.g., high availability, disaster recovery, scalability).
• Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager) is highly desirable.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  
  

Database Management : Strong experience with databases (RDBMS and NoSQL) and robust database management practices.

Security Acumen : Demonstrated proficiency in VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) management and the implementation of cloud security best practices.

Problem-Solving : Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex cloud environments.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Collaboration : Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.

Certifications (Plus) : Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or similar.
