Role Summary

We are looking for an enterprise network architect who poses core IT networking skills, a solid foundation for working in the IT networking domain and showcase strong experience in design, deploy, manage, migrate, secure, and troubleshoot a wide range of enterprises and data center network infrastructures.

Network Architect having proficiency in enterprise network domain working with multi-vendor and multi network domain solutions, blueprinting future ready scalable, resilient, and secure network, and creating network strategies to support applications/systems and increased bandwidth requirements.

Technical Skills Required

Strong solution and design experience of creating network diagrams, HLD documents using tools like Visio or Lucid chart or open-source tool, solutioning network topologies (star, mesh, ring and bus), configurations (routing protocols static, RIP, OSPF, BGP, EIGR), redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP, Cluster), IP addressing (IPV4/IPV6, subnetting and CIDR), routing tables, and security policies for LAN, WAN, WLAN domains.

Proficiency in setting up access controls (ACLs), encryption protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, IPSec), Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IPS/IDS) and VPN services.

Strong working knowledge on SDN, network virtualization and NFV technologies

Wired and Wireless LAN Networking Architecting Nexus, DC leaf & Spine, Cisco ACI, L2/L3 switches fabric, network segmentations, SD-LAN (Cisco, Aruba & Dell) technologies.

Wireless Networking - Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi standards (e.g., 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and their respective strengths, limitations, security protocols (WPA2, WPA3) and use cases, Expertise in heatmap design tools, site survey, performance optimization, configuration, and coverage. Good exposure to implement Wi-Fi6/6E and Wi-Fi7 solutions.

WAN Networking - Working design and deployment experience of IP routing, Ethernet, MPLS, DIA, P2P, ILL, Mobile Networks (4G/LTE, 5G), QOS, IPSec VPN, Vendor solutions for routers and SD-WAN (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba), Load Balancers (F5, Citrix HA Proxy, Cloud) and traffic engineering.

Working experience with ISPs for connectivity, links terminations, bandwidth optimization and performance. Defining QoS, Class of services, performance parameters and security policies across the underlay and overlay networks.

Cloud Networking Solutioning and architecting experience of public cloud networking (AWS, Azure and GCP), creating virtual networks (VPCs, VNets), virtual machines, container networking, integrating multi cloud networking systems, Hybrid cloud integrating using IPSec VPN, direct connect /express routes, security groups and load balancing.

Experiencing of setting up NOC solution across network technologies and support models of L1/L2 and L3 levels. Proficiency with network diagnostic tools and expertise to troubleshoot at L3 level/SME.

Working experience of deploying monitoring tools (SolarWinds, ManageEngine, Nagios or Zabbix), integrating with ITSM solutions (i.e. ServiceNow)

Good knowledge on setting up Network Security solutions, perimeter Firewall (Palo Alto, Check Point), DMZ, EDR solutions, Antivirus, PAM, SASE enabled SD-WAN and SSE solutions (CASB, ZTNA and SWG), DNS Security, FWaaS, DevSecOps processes.

Good knowledge and exposure to network automation- Network digital twin, service catalogue, AI/ML enabled solutions, CI/CD

Familiarity of cloud managed network services, Meraki series

Having multi-vendor end-to-end design and implementation experience involving network setup and configuration

Good To Have

Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef to automate network configurations and management.

Skills in writing network automation scripts using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

3rd party API integration, configuration, and monitoring

Understanding of 5G networks, IoT networking concepts, connectivity protocols and security

Network slicing for 5G networks.
