Position Summary

Level: Consultant

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:

Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

• Enterprise Network Architect Design & Implementation: Lead the design and architecture of enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, Zscaler and Cloud networks, to meet business requirements and objectives. Familiarity with SDN technologies and principles (e.g. SD-WAN, SDDC).
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging network technologies, products, and solutions to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in network design and performance.
• Standards and Best Practices: Define and enforce network architecture standards, best practices, and design principles to ensure consistency, scalability, and security across the network environment.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive network solutions that integrate with existing systems, applications, and business processes, aligning with organizational goals and requirements.
• Disaster Recovery: Experience with Configuring Disaster Recovery & Failover Mechanisms such as Active-Active or Active-Passive.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex networking issues.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure designs and processes.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers in best practices and advanced GCP concepts.
  
  

• Providing solutions as per the requirement given in the areas of Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Private Cloud Services etc.), Virtualization, Automation & Datacenter technologies.
• Also operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes.
• Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality.
• Responsible for the design and implementation Client project deliverables based on the requirements.
• Undergoing Proof of Concepts along with the White paper submission, and are not limited to the documentation of project deliverables, RFP, BOM/BOQ etc.
• Utilizes different platforms including Cloud services for enhancement of network architectures
• Demonstrates creative, technical, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in Data Center Networking, Cloud Networking, Migration, Network Re-design/ Refresh, or relevant fields
• Implemented Cisco SD-WAN solutions for branch connectivity, application prioritization, and secure site-to-site communication.
• Configured and maintained firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, and NAT policies to ensure network segmentation and secure remote access.
• Configured and managed F5 Load Balancers (LTM/GTM) to ensure high availability, traffic optimization, and redundancy across critical business applications.
• Participated in migration projects involving on-prem to hybrid and cloud-based networking setups on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Vast experience in Planning, Architecting, Design, and Implementation in hybrid (On-premises, Public/Private Cloud) environment with Deployment and Migration scope.
• Proactively monitored network performance, conducted packet captures, and performed deep-dive analysis using Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Cisco tools.
• Hands-on experience in all Network protocols (Switching & Routing protocols like VLAN, VTP, STP, HSRP/VRRP, LAG, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF, EIGRP, GRE, DMVPN etc.), IPsec, (Site-to-Site) tunnels, Remote SSL VPN, DNS, DHCP, SD-WAN, SDDC, NFV etc.
• Hands-on experience in Multi-Vendor OEM Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, (F5-LTM & GTM; Citrix NetScaler), Wireless Controllers and Access Points products.
• Experience in Cloud services offered by Amazon Web Services-AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google
• Assisted in network automation initiatives using basic scripting in Python and Bash, enhancing deployment speed and reducing manual errors would be preferred.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux/Unix concepts.
• Expertise in Network design topology-HLD & LLD and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domains and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries
• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
• Certified as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Networking Specialty, GCP Networking Professional, Azure Networking Associate
