Overview
Objective
We are seeking a skilled and proactive ERP Technical Support Engineer to join our remote support team. This individual will play a key role in providing technical support, ensuring system stability, and resolving ERP-related issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a shift-based remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide responsive technical support for ERP systems via remote channels (email, phone, and ticketing system).
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system errors, performance issues, and integration failures.
- Functional & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work with various business units (Finance, HR, Logistics, etc.) to identify and resolve functional-technical issues.
- Understand business workflows and contribute to improvements in ERP system configurations.
- System Maintenance & Upgrades
- Perform regular system maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Ensure data integrity, system backups, and security compliance.
- Documentation & Training
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, user manuals, and internal knowledge base articles.
- Assist in end-user training and onboarding sessions when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in ERP technical support or a similar IT role
- Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL)
- Experience with:
- ERP configuration and module setup
- User role management and administration
- API integrations and custom scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, ABAP)
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, shift-based environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud-based ERP platforms (e.g., Odoo, SAP, NetSuite)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Freshdesk, Zendesk, or JIRA Service Desk
- Understanding of business process flows, including finance, inventory, supply chain, and HR
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple requests in a support setting
Work Environment
- Fully remote role; candidates must have a stable internet connection and professional home setup
- Shift-based assignment, including:
- Coverage during UAE business hours, evenings, and weekends, on a rotational basis
- Flexibility to adjust schedules based on support demands
- May involve occasional after-hours or on-call support during critical updates or system outages
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
