Expert DevOps Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Expert DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Expert DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Architect the cloud infrastructure strategy for multi-region, enterprise-grade deployments
• Design the CI/CD platform supporting application
• Own Kubernetes architecture including GPU scheduling, resource optimization, and multi-tenancy
• Define the observability strategy integrating application metrics, agent tracing (Langfuse/Arize Phoenix), and business KPIs
• Architect Temporal cluster operations for highly available durable workflow execution
• Define SLO framework and reliability targets across all platform services
• Lead incident response and establish post-mortem culture
• Design security operations including secrets rotation, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation
• Lead the DevOps team and mentor senior engineers
• Make build-vs-buy decisions for infrastructure tooling
• Drive AI-native practices to accelerate infrastructure automation

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
• Expert AI-native development capability (mandatory)
• Strong expertise in Python and Go
• Deep expertise in 3+ of the following:
• Cloud architecture at scale (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Kubernetes platform engineering (multi-cluster, GPU, service mesh)
• CI/CD platform architecture
• Observability platform architecture
• Reliability engineering and SLO-driven operations
• Infrastructure security and compliance automation
• Track record of leading infrastructure teams
• Strong architectural thinking and communication skills
